Okay maybe I'm lagging or whatever. But omigosh it's changed.
How scary. It's not as glam-shopping-centre-changing-room as last time, but I think it's a lot more organized, and now we can take whatever we want and dump it in the changing room, and the price isn't automatically added! Whatever we want, we just drag down into this cute little box.

Minka Dumont Kelly (born June 24, 1980) is an American actress. She starred in the NBC series Friday Night Lights as Lyla Garrity from 2006 to 2009.

Kelly was born in Los Angeles, California.She is the only child of former Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay and Maureen Kelly, an exotic dancer and single mother who often moved with her daughter to different communities before settling in Albuquerque, New Mexico, by the time Minka was in junior high school.She is of Irish and French descent.
At 19, after graduating from Valley High School in Albuquerque NM, Kelly returned to Los Angeles. She ultimately chose against the procedure, leading to her being fired. However, the exposure to the medical field prompted her to attend school for a year to become a surgeon's assistant; afterward, she worked as a scrub tech. She spent four years in that vocation while also auditioning as an actress before landing the new NBC television drama Friday Night Lights, based on the high school football movie of that name. In the interim, she had small roles in movies and shows, including the film State's Evidence, and a recurring guest role on the TV sitcom What I Like About You.

She shot a cameo for The Kingdom, alongside Jamie Foxx. Peter Berg, the creator and pilot director of Friday Night Lights, directed the film. Kelly was the lead actor on the The CW's 2009 pilot Body Politic, which did not go to series. Kelly was a member of the ensemble quartet that starred in the CBS comedy pilot True Love, playing Kate, a Midwestern girl who falls in love with Henry at the top of the Empire State Building, but was replaced by Sarah Chalke.

Not bad huh. I quite like it. All Superstar only, though. But the prices are quite reasonable, no more than fourteen bucks. It's all a bit too pink for me, but most of the dresses are quite cute, and the shoes aren't bad, so yes.

Winter Blush

Because I am super fail at spoilers and stuff like that, let's try my luck today.

So, we've got more on Winter Blush! It should be out in the Starplaza pretty soon, I wager, and I can't wait. I think some of the clothes are gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. And I love the theme colours this time, which are white, blue, teal and navy! I love those colours :D So yeah, I'm pretty sure we have some Armani-inspired stuff here, Alexander McQueen and some Viktor&Rolf. The Armani ones aren't too good, admittedly, but in general the whole thing is pretty great.

Winter Blush Whites!

This one's my favourite. Because the white makes it all look angel

ic! The middle one's kinda odd (that's the Alexis one), looks like a cross between some kimono and a sleeping gown. No of

fence. I like the other two though! And the bag (down at the bottom, in case you missed it, 'cos I did at first) is so cute.

The things at the top, well, I'm pretty sure they're shoes. Quite pretty, no?

Some comments:

1) The Alexis Mabille. It would be nice without the incredibly Japanese transparent sleeves.

2) The shoes. Are they even shoes? Maybe when they come out they'll look better.

3) IT'S GORGEOUS.

So here we are (: The dress in the middle is a bit off, mainly because I don't really approve of mermaid tail dresses. But it's actually really quite nice, hopefully this line isn't Superstar only.

he whole light blue tone, hmm? That's be Viktor&Rolf, and I'm thinking this line is going to be considerably popular.

I like the shoes! They look really cute, and well, I don't have any platforms in my shoe stand right now. The shirt at the bottom left, not so nice. And the pants (bottom right) look a bit like something from a 70s show, but it's still quite pretty in general.

Not much to say here. These outfits probably look better in real life, but ah well, that's what you get for making everythin

So, quick updates! New line! Fairy Kei, apparently. From Sunny Bunny Kloz. Such an odd name. So anyway, the deets. Superstar only, except for some footwear etc. Prices ranging from around $4 to $15. The stuff's very cutesy and Japanese. I like the black tulle pearl skirt! And I bought the adorable pink legwarmers, because they're only four bucks and I had the play-and-earn money to spare :D

DID I MENTION THE ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE PURPLE BEAR.

Okay, newest contest would be Winter Blush, where basically you dress up in certain colours and save the doll in your album and you stand a chance to win Stardollars! Retail therapy, says Stardoll. I like. The clothes are pretty cool too. I think the colours are cute (:

I honestly don't know what to say. And as for the names, 'Princessdoll'??? How is that fun for all ages? The post says 20th January but we only found out about it yesterday! This could be hoax, but no one can be sure! This graphic below was made by Yissy123 'Danielle' from Stardoll Hour and she's encouraging everyone to post this on their blogs and websites so that Stardoll will see and change their minds. There's also a rumour that the SWITCHOVER will be in December 2012 but could be December 2011 so it's not too far away! So spread this graphic ;)

February Hotbuys Review!

Hey everyone!
HOTBUYS REVIEW!

Well, the January Hotbuys for this year were late arriving and very bad quality. For February this year, the graphic quality is better but I'm not too sure on the actual pieces.
I will only buy the bag and if I have any money, the waistcoat and belt. The strawberry dress comes out on my birthday (Feb 12th) so I may treat myself to it as a birthday gift but probably not.
I don't even want to comment on the other pieces seen as we'd be here all day!

The one priced at eight dollars. It kinda reminds me of Chinese New Year (which is coming up! So, my sister just signed up for Stardoll! She's only eight, what is the world coming to?!

When she got back from school and logged on, I was slogging away at math (yay me). Then she shouted "HEY WHAT DOES SUPERSTAR MEAN" and I screamed and ran to the laptop. So yeah, did you know, people, that if you join Stardoll (unlike us lovely veterans who joined in the Stone Age and had no newbie privileges) nowadays, you get a lot of free money, nice lovely clothes (which you choose when you sign up), and ONE FREE DAY OF SUPERSTAR. So yes, she spent the whole day shopping.

I am jealous. But that's what you get for being born later I guess. I was Superstar like once. /pained look. Oh, and the prices of Luxe stuff are insane. Really, they are. But still. When you're Superstar, you're Stardoll Royalty, after all.

Okay followers for all superstars the makeup is so darn expensive ! I just recently bought some new LUXE eyeshadow and they were 22 stardollars each ! At the most it's a rip-off. Your better off not buy LUXE colors but the other kind that are 6 stardollars !

Free stuff : If your a superstar , go to starbeauty & hit glamorous. Once your there , their is free face stars for 0 stardollars. Hurry up and get them !

Hey.

I'm really sorry for not posting a lot recently. But the heavy burden of living in the real world has started jumping in front of me and I doubt I'll be able to ignore it any longer. Besides, I've got a ton of major examinations coming up, and this is a huge part of my life. Since it actually decides which secondary school (and probably every single phase of my education after that) I go to — and have the right to apply for.

Right now I'm gonna concentrate on what's happening in real life. I've been put on curfew when it comes to the computer, so I'll probably only log on the check emails and do some blogging on my personal blog. I'll still have a life on Stardoll, but I'll be coming and going.

Read my latest post on Stardoll With LipStick On for more information on what I'm hoping to do with my Stardoll account. And perhaps there'll be some others thrown into the bargain. Including another ex-SS account. But all this depends on what I think of you — since I'm lending it to you for free.

Hi. =]

I'm sorry I haven't been posting for so long. It's just that (read my blog) I've been suffering from a form of "depression". But I'm ok now .. I think. Well, Christmas sure made me better!

And I've been totally busy with prep for X'mas celebrations. Buying presents, making presents, doing gift tags, cutting and pasting, buying food, and celebrating! It's already Christmas Day, but yesterday's party was the best. Hopefully tonight's party will be fab too!

Have you gotten your $15 yet? It's in the Advent Calendar. And there is the totally weird new interior. It's exactly like the Minimalism one, except there's fireworks in the background. *shakes head*

I'm going to have a look at the history of the brand. And btw, there's a new competition that you have to design something with the new clothes in StarDesign, since they only cost $1 and are dead cheap, plus it's for non-SS too. Okay, Stardoll, what's this? ELLE Boutique? Hm, let's see.

Status:

1) Clothes — OK. Some are actually quite gorgeous. 7/10

2) Superstar or Non-Superstar or both? — Superstar. Obviously. Unfair, too.

3) Limited? (How can we be sure after LE?) — Nope!

I've got one question. When you click on that blue dress, it says something like Emerald Bubble Dress or something like that.

The long-overdue LE introduction:

1) Clothes — some are absolutely gorgeous! Others I wouldn't really die for. 8/10

2) Superstar or Non-Superstar or both? — Superstar. That would be quite obvious, since Stardoll's really unfair. ='(

Really, some of the outfits displayed there are to die for. But unfortunately, even if I was SS, by the time I saw this there were only two items left. Strange, hmm?

You seen the George Sampson interview in the magazine? Wow ... that Lauren is so lucky! She actually got to meet him. You should have seen the comments. Watch it ... and his videos. The latter is on YouTube, unless you're lucky enough to have seen the live performance (I have a friend who was in the video) and filmed it.

Medoll Memoires Melodrama

Sorry I haven't been, like, posting a lot. I am really busy right now. It was, like, right out of exams & school & a huge plunge straight into my ballet rehearsals. Busy, busy, busy. As the choreographer said, this probably isn't that surprising, since it is going to be a very professional production of The Nutcracker. Dancer's word.

OK, Stardoll's been soooooo boring these days. After the expensive Limited Edition & Philosophy, anything cheap is a relief. Alberta Ferreti also out, & speaking of RCs, it's RC week & it features Faith Hill. & the advent calendar with its free stuff (what's the bet on Christmas Day we'll all get free money?) But this is all old news.

Considering that Stardoll has been a bore recently, I managed to find plenty of drama in another, separate Stardoll world; the user blogs. This time, the melodrama is revolving around Medoll Memoires, the celebrated new blog done by Noelle Page, Isabelle Arci & the recent addition, Vittorio. & that's where all the drama comes in. & — can you believe it? — the big fuss is about ... graphics & the people who design them.

To sum it all up, there's an online war on graphics designing going on: Vittorio vs Anti-Vittorio. The Anti-Vittorios are people like dodence_bt, Blogger user 'Rebekah', 'Fay' and some others. The rest of us are merely by-standers in their world of war and supporting a side. (I know there are some very fierce supporters — please correct me if I'm wrong.) Some people mulishly support the fact that Vittorio's ability to do wonderful graphics are amazing, some are just stubbornly saying that anyone can do the same. [It is a rather lame argument if you ask me, the type where people will argue for sooooooo long they become incoherent (in real life) and they forget what the disagreement was about in the first place.]

As I commented on one of the more recent posts concerning the abuse & insults thrown by people at Vittorio & helping Vittorio, I think that everyone is talented (in some way, at least) & that they should all learn to live with each other & appreciate each other's talents. I could never do that well with Photoshop (which they all admit/say they use) no matter how long I stared at the computer. (I am not really willing to try, anyway. I am one of the only two girls who don't wear glasses, & I do not wish to let Hannah be the only one.) Just being able to filter, layer and do whatever they say they do is something amazing, if you ask me.

Second post in one day!!!! Here's why:

I logged on for the second time today, because I wanted to check (as a Stardoll obsessed weirdo) if any major changes had been made — for me — over dinner. I usually wouldn't do that, but nowadays, knowing Stardoll's new knack for changing things without warning, I do. So I opened a window and entered the Stardoll website, and the first thing that hit me (WHAM!!!! before I'd even logged in) was the new formatting of the site. Wow! I logged in immediately and asked my friend, "Is Stardoll, like, going for the minimalism look or something? This new look is weird!" And my friend replied and advised me to post on my blog ... right now! So I did.

Second thing; BOLT in Stardoll. I guess you've all heard about Bolt, Disney's new movie. Yeah, the one about the dog. No, it's not Beverly Hills Chihuahua (I hope Stardoll puts Chihuahua in the Stardoll Cinema), it's Bolt. Yup! So there's a free poster (only for certain countries, like always) and 3 free dogs in the MiniShop!

But this is injustice, as I said in comment to Rhiann's post on her blog: "But anyway, I have this OLD account that I accidentally made while I was in the UK. Eternity Comeback!!!!

Have you heard? Eternity Magazine is back! Nope, I haven't been hired as advertizer for them or anything, but the new issue really rocks!

Heidi (heidi-di) is doing a column for them now, and they've got a new blog. Since we're no longer waiting for Eternity but already getting it, I suppose. But as to why they chose Eternity Disguise for the new blog title, I suppose it's because they want to keep the upcoming New Year issue secret or something. As someone said on the Eternity Disguise blog, "Also, thanks Mary Walkerson (Writemarycat) for eclipsing our new year issue! You're soo subtle." Why did she have to be subtle in the first place?

They're new logo is really cool, very sophisticated, let's see if Mary (or Gina or someone) replies to what font they used. It looks a little like Helvetica Neue UltraLight, I think. I've got that font in my laptop. Click on the many Eternity links:

The newest Stardollian obsession: Chinese Stardoll.

It's a really welcome change from all the sky-rocketing prices of the so-called 'English Stardoll', because — guess what? — we've seen some prices on CN (Chinese Stardoll) go down to as low as $3 when it's dear partner had prices (in bazaars) like $60.

I admit, though, I'm amazed at how tons of people managed to get accounts. I'm utterly bamboozled — I'm racially Chinese but I have no idea what they were asking for on the registration thingy. Yas helped a lot, and now I've virtually improved my Chinese skills (my parents would be glad).

I'd do just about anything do get on, they announce free stuff like those people at the malls, and best of all they have free stuff! Who wouldn't give their first-born for that? Maybe not everyone, but it's something worth virtually dying for. If you're a Stardoll-obsessed lunatic, that is.

Hey all.

Sorry I haven't been posting for such a long time, but I've been busy with school work and exams and all that. I really hoped Lexi would fill in but she hasn't, and her Stardoll account is out of use too. I really don't know what happened to her (the last time I heard from her she had come back from Australia) and I do not want to push the blame, so I apologize for not being active on the blog.

First things first, I've gotta apologize. I went off to Melbourne for my school project FPS finals. It was great, and we won second place, but I totally felt sooooooo retarded for not telling anyone ('cept my diary) that I was going and that I'd not be able to be on. Sorry, Yas! Sorry, Lexi! And if you are from Melbourne Grammar School or if you know anyone from there, ask them to contact me via doll mail, 'cos I happen to have met some really cool peepz (Lucy, Flora, Elise, Natasha and Fran) from there, plus a few other people (one is James. The others I dunno.).

Superstars vs Non-Superstars

I read an article on the Stardoll user blog, Tyler's Top Trends, and I was amazed. The article was written by katie_lady824 and explained the whole "Superstar vs Non-Superstar" war to us. I was so intrigued, I actually posted a loooong comment:

"I totally agree. I am currently a non-superstar but I have been superstar twice since I joined in June 2007. Both times, I won competitions. It was really cool, but Stardoll's beginning to overdo it. Some non-superstars deserve credits for making Stardoll the way it is. I have some non-superstar friends who treat me better than some superstars. Of course, there are some really elite (in looks and personality) people, and I know that. I've met some of them. But I think the fault still lies with Stardoll. After all, Stardoll is just another [though no doubt cooler] virtual community, but some of us waste too much of our lives on it."

And many others expressed their views on this article too. For example:

"Yeah, but what do non-superstars give to stardoll? nothing. But stardoll gives them a site to dress up their fav celebs, chat with friends, and a whole bunch of stuff, if anything, non-superstars owe stardoll. Not the other way around. Even when I was a non-superstar for 3 whole months, I understood that I didn't give anything to stardoll, but superstars pay the employees salaries! And without superstars, there is no payment for the employees, which means no stardoll. Non-superstars should be more great full to stardoll for giving them a free website, instead of greedily asking for more and more without giving anything in return. Stardoll wants money, and they will do anything to get it. PLUS the reason most things that were once for everybody are now exclusively to superstars is a marketing technique. I must say I agree with her and many others, not to mention Katie. We all have reasons for our opinions, but I think that it's true that though "no pain, no gain" (pain being loss of money), non-superstars deserve something too. Ex-superstars get things (for example the voile gift dresses), but I know how non-superstars feel [from my sister]. Some non-superstars have hearts of gold and are the nicest people ever, but superstars have the reputation. After all, being superstar means that you have the money to buy the account and stardollars, right? Hmm, sometimes I don't think so. I am an above-averagely-rich person (having my parents and grandparent working to support the family) but my mother has never been to keen on me splurging on online sites, like i-Dressup or Millsberry, or for my sister to waste precious money on Barbie or Neopets VIP accounts.

I get the feeling some non-superstars feel under-rated, just because of their status. But even though all these things are happening around us, where would we be without Stardoll? For me, Stardoll makes up 15% of my life, which is more than it should. I log on everyday just say read my messages and stuff, then I write blog entries which everyone can read, then I come here and write something to update on. But no, I wouldn't say I'm obsessed. I actually manage to juggle my online life, my real life and everything else chasing each other round my head and survive!

Just like when they started bringing RealCelebs and RealBrands to Stardoll. The whole community was shocked! Pleased, yeah, but shocked. Hey, perhaps they'll bring the whole of Chanel's range over? Maybe ... let's cross out fingers and hope.

RealCeleb Changes

Apparently, Mary-Kate Olsen's doll has been changed!?!?! But she's not the first RealCeleb to have her doll changed. Paulina Porizkova also had her doll changed recently, as commented by many users in clubs, blogs and GBs. Same goes for the wonderful Heidi Klum.

Personally, I love the new MK. The lips are really ... Mary-kate. And the dress rocks! It's a bit Star-Wars-style, I see, but otherwise GREAT!

The new Stardoll store Kohl's is back from its short disappearance ... now with both Hayden's brand and Avril's brand in store!

Hayden Pantinerre (picture) signed a brand with Kohl's recently, followed by the release of her store, Candies, now in the StarPlaza.

Avril Lavigne also recently released her store, known as Abbey Dawn. Now also in the StarPlaza.

In both stores, there are videos of the making and designing of the clothes in the brand. Watch, enjoy and buy!

OK, so Stardoll is mad. Chill, people, so need to get your hair in a twist. But seriously, Tampax? What do the boys think?

"Stardoll has just gone plain bananas." a 17 year old male user commented, shaking his head (or so the icon says). "We don't get periods!"

Some clubs have been discussing this issue. Many people agree that Tampax was not a wise choice for a sponsor, even though many think that the club is good because of the free gifts given when a certain amount of people join.

Peace out, guys. Don't worry. Stardoll might get David Beckham to sponsor next time or something. Give free soccer balls. Well, we'll see.

Yipee! Stardoll is gonna celebrate 20 million members! Let's celebrate.

OK, peace out. I'm not mad. It's just that I'm totally wondering what kind of gifts we'll get. When we reached 10 million we got that huge star and the chocs and the perfume. Check tiatulip's page for that.

So ... what do you guys think? I hope it's free clothes or something like that. Maybe they'll give everyone free $1oo like they gave everyone $15 on Christmas. Cool, huh?
